IGUA announces new Chairman of the Board.

The Industrial Gas Users Association announces the appointment of Mr. Benoit Gratton as it’s new Chairman of the Board of Directors. Mr. Gratton succeeds Mr. Denis Côté whose term ended in March 2008.

The appointment will provide IGUA with both continuity and experience. Mr. Gratton has over 18 years’ experience within the energy industry, is well known in the energy community, and is well respected by his colleagues.

Mr. Gratton is currently the Director of Energy Procurement for Cascades. In his role, Benoit directs electricity, natural gas and oil procurement strategies and oversees energy contracts for Cascades’ nearly 100 locations throughout Canada, United States and Europe.
